Request Account Deletion
We value your privacy. You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your TrackEB account and associated data at any time.
Method 1: Delete via App (Instant)
If you still have the TrackEB app installed, this is the fastest way to delete your data.
- Open the TrackEB app.
- Go to your Profile tab.
- Tap the Settings (gear) icon.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your choice. Your data will be wiped immediately.
Method 2: Request via Web
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access it, you can request deletion by contacting our support team directly.
Please email us with the following details:
- Subject: Account Deletion Request
- Body: Please provide the email address or username associated with your account.
* We verify all requests to prevent abuse. We aim to complete manual deletion requests within 7 business days.
Data Retention Policy
What gets deleted?
- • Your public profile (Name, Username, Avatar).
- • All posts and photos you have uploaded.
- • Your comment history and likes.
- • Your registered business listings.
- • Your saved locations and preferences.
- • Your authentication credentials.
What information is kept?
- • Transaction Records: If you made purchases (e.g., boosted posts), we retain the receipt ID and amount for tax and legal compliance for up to 5 years. These are decoupled from your personal identity where possible.
- • Aggregated Analytics: Anonymized data points (e.g., "a user viewed this business") that cannot be traced back to you.
